Patrice Walker (Tricie as she likes to be called) graduated from Southern University in 1995 with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing. Since that time, she has worked in varied specialties such as neurology/neurosurgery, mental health, and home health. Mrs. Walker worked several years at Department of Health and Hospitals Program Integrity Unit as a nurse analyst investigating Medicaid fraud, often working with agents from the Louisiana Attorney General’s office, Office of the Inspector General, FBI and DEA. She has been a sexual assault nurse examiner for over 10 years, and volunteered with the District Attorney’s Rape Crisis center as a hospital advocate. Most recently Mrs. Walker worked in the petrochemical industry as a certified occupational health nurse and case manager for ExxonMobil where she managed numerous disability and worker’s compensation cases for the medical department. At ExxonMobil, Mrs. Walker was part of audit teams and served as a member of the board and volunteer for one the company’s employee volunteer teams.
In 1999, she became the co-owner of Walker Investigations, LLC where she ran the day to day operations while conducting investigations and overseeing the company’s team of investigators. In 2009, Tricie became sole owner for Walker Investigations, LLC.
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading, Latin dance, travelling, boxing, going to the gun range and attending Saints football games. According to Tricie, “I know absolutely nothing about football, but I love the atmosphere in the Superdome during a Saints game!”
